Top 10 Very Early Pregnancy Signs

Some women don't have any symptoms at all. Some women have a few of these presented below. Some women may have others that are not listed. These pregnancy symptoms tend to be
the most prevalent, however.

1. Fatigue. Due to the increase in hormone levels, most women begin to feel extreme fatigue in early pregnancy.

2. Sore breasts and/or nipples. Many women feel that their breasts are fuller and more tender with their nipples being more sensitive during early pregnancy.

3. Cramping and/or bloating. This early pregnancy symptom tends to feel very much like your period is coming.

4. Light bleeding. This light spotting is caused by the fertilized egg embedding into the lining of the uterus. Many women feel that their period is beginning, but it is actually one of their first signs of pregnancy.

5. Nausea and/or vomiting. Normally, morning sickness won't occur until about a month after conception, and some escape this pregnancy symptom altogether.

6. Increased urination. This symptom of early pregnancy occurs due to the increase in blood and other body fluids, which is processed by the kidneys and ends up in the bladder. This increase in urination will most likely only worsen as your pregnancy progresses.

7. Missed period. This pregnancy symptom is the first sign to some women that they are pregnant, especially with menstrual periods that are pretty regular.

8. Increased sensitivity to odors. This early pregnancy symptom may be due to increased estrogen levels, but no one knows for sure.

9. Basal body temperature stays high. If you're charting your basal body temperature, one of the very early pregnancy signs is a higher-than-normal temperature for that time of the month due to increasing progesterone levels in early pregnancy.

10. Positive pregnancy test . Most pregnancy tests will not detect early pregnancy until your menstrual period is missed. Some tests are more highly sensitive, however, and can detect pregnancy as early as a few days after conception.

How to Look HOT in a Maternity Bathing Suit

Do you mean you could actually look good in a bathing suit and go to the beach while pregnant? Like even 8 months pregnant? Of course you can, as specially made maternity swimwear is available in many styles to accommodate your preferences and give you the look you want. You may even get a compliment on how beautiful you look being pregnant!

No, you don't have to wear an all black, oversized bathing suit...in fact, colorful prints will make you look prettier, flatter your skin tone and detract attention away from your large tummy.

Did you know that swimming is considered the best exercise when you're pregnant? So even if you live in Minnesota, it would be good for you to visit the local indoor (heated) pool and swim. See my website for specific swim strokes that are best and ones to avoid. But, back to the maternity bathing suit topic...

Are you one of those women who like to show their entire stomach when pregnant? Then just buy a regular bikini. No problem. But if you don't want to let it all hang out, then you should buy a maternity bathing suit that covers your belly, and looks classy as well.

The different styles come in variations of tankini styles, but are longer in the front. As you grow, the suit will still cover your belly, up until your ninth month. At 5 months, it may look a little long, but that's because it's made to cover your tummy in your later months.

A good maternity bathing suit is made with ties, not clasps. Why? Because with ties, when your bust and/or your belly gets bigger, you can simply loosen the ties and the suit will still fit you. Maternity bathing suits made to fit for your entire pregnancy save you money in the long run. You only need to buy one.

How many maternity bathing suits have you looked at on models who must be about 6 months pregnant - and they look tight around the stomach? I've seen many, and wondered, gee - how will that fit her in a couple more months??

One piece maternity swimwear is very pretty - if you don't mind your tummy sticking out, as you can definitely see your shape as the suit hugs your belly. If you don't want to look pregnant that much, then the full coverage styles, which are longer in the front are better for you.

When considering 2-piece styles, the bottoms should be cut low enough in the front so that your tummy grows above. The bikini bottoms don't necessarily have to have ties at the side, as there is enough stretch in bathing suit fabric that allows you to grow in the hips a few inches. Your hips don't normally get bigger when you are pregnant, providing you are putting on the right amount of weight.

When you're pregnant, and putting on around the recommended weight, you should only grow bigger in the tummy. SOME women grow bigger in the bust as well, but many do not.

OK, you've figured it out. I am plugging my products. But that's only because I am a mom and a designer of maternity bathing suits, and know what women need. My company, Pregabelli Maternity, has the trendiest fabric patterns, latest styles, and a variety of one and two-piece suits to choose from.

Also, we make everything in Miami, Florida. That means its made in the USA - and when was the last time you bought a piece of clothing actually made in this country? You're doing a good thing by supporting American workers.

But check us out for yourself. We have only the highest quality fabrics and all our suits are made with soft ties, so that your maternity swimsuit will fit you for your entire pregnancy. And you'll look amazing! What more could you ask for?

Ectopic Pregnancy - Signs and Symptoms

During pregnancy, typically the fertilized egg travels through the fallopian tube to reach the mother's womb. However, in some cases the egg fails to reach the womb but gets lodged in the fallopian tube, where it continues to grow. This is known as 'ectopic' or 'tubal' pregnancy. More rarely, the fertilized egg lodges in the cervix, abdomen, or c-section scar, and is known as heterotopic pregnancy.

If an ectopic pregnancy is left untreated, the embryo will continue to grow till it ruptures the fallopian tube. This could result in complications, and may even be fatal for the expecting mother. Since there is no way to move the egg into the womb, ectopic pregnancies are terminated.

Risks

Your spouse is at greater risk of ectopic pregnancy in the following situations:

* Her pregnancy occurs even though she had a tubal ligation (surgical sterilization)

* She had an intrauterine device (IUD) when she became pregnant

* She has undergone surgery of the fallopian tubes

* She previously had an ecoptic pregnancy

* She has an infection in the upper reproductive tract (pelvic inflammatory disease or PID)

* She has been treated for infertility because of damaged tubes

Symptoms

Ectopic pregnancy is usually diagnosed around six weeks of pregnancy. Your spouse should consult her obstetrician if she has any of the following symptoms:

* Pain or tenderness in the abdomen or pelvis, especially while coughing or moving bowels, and which may become more severe or chronic with time

* Vaginal bleeding

* Shoulder pain, especially while lying down

* Symptoms of shock, such as a weak, racing pulse, pale and clammy skin, or dizziness, which may indicate a ruptured tube that requires urgent attention

Diagnosis

Ectopic pregnancies are often difficult to diagnose. However, based on the symptoms, the obstetrician may prescribe any of the following tests:

* Blood test

* Vaginal examination

* Ultrasound

If the tests are still inconclusive, the obstetrician may suggest examination of the fallopian tubes using laparoscopic surgery.

Treatment

If the embryo is still small, the ectopic pregnancy may be terminated by injecting the drug methotrexate. However, in more advanced cases, or where the medication is not advisable, a surgery may be required.

Exercising Inversely Proportional To Labour Pains!

Exercising regularly during pregnancy is the key to reduce labour pains at the time of delivery. Let us see some exercises which can be done during the delivery period.
Exercise to Relax Physically and Mentally: This exercise is done by lying flat on the floor. Do the relaxation exercise in the following order:
1) Relax your forehead. Do not bring wrinkles on your forehead.
2) Let loose your jaws.
3) Loosen your shoulders.
4) Loosen both your elbows and spread your hands away from the body.
5) Keep your hands and fingers loose.
6) Also loosen your legs.
For better relaxtion you can also request someone to move his/her hand over your forehead, shoulders and back. Do this process in between two labour pains. Relaxing helps in proper circulation of oxygen to the body. Face must also be relaxed. Automatically your whole body will get relax.

Types of breathing exercise for relaxation:
1) Breathing in synchronisation
a) Deep breathing: Breathe deeply through your nose and fill your lungs. Release air through your mouth.
b) Breathe slowly: Keep hands on your hip. Slowly breathe and then release air through your mouth as if you blow a baloon. Repeat the process twice.
c) Breathing upto the jaws: In this process say "OUT" and put emphasize on "T". Breathing automatically takes place.
Deep breathing exercise should then be repeated.

2) Low breathing: Breathe low for two times and then blow air out. Keep doing this until the urge to push baby outside is stopped. This exercise is to be done when the cervix is closed. This exercise definitely helps in preventing swelling of the cervix. The swelling of cervix is caused due the pressure exerted by the chid's head.

3) Breathing during final push out:
a) The exercise is to be done by putting two pillows under your head.
b) Breathe normally through nose and release air through the mouth.
c) Breathe again.
d) Now take a deep breath and hold.
e) Chin is to be then brought very close to the chest.
f) Now you have to apply your full force. This will help in pushing your child down. If holding breath is not possible, then release it. Again take a deep breath and hold for sometime.
e) Release your breath and relax.
The above exercise should be done in your final phase of pregnancy, i.e., when you are about to deliver.
